If you’re reading this, you know that our Site provides users with an opportunity to learn more about Plantar Fasciitis and Morton’s neuroma. When we use the phrase “Anonymous Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that is neither used nor intended to be used to personally identify an individual.

The terms and conditions of use policy, and the privacy policy, identify what users of fasciitis.com (“Users”) can expect from this site, and what we expect from Users. Children.

The Site is not directed to children and children are not eligible to use our Site. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. We do not collect or maintain Personal Information from people we actually know are under 18 years of age, and no part of our Site is designed to attract people under 18 years of age. When the Site does collect age information, and users identify themselves as under 18, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the Site.

How We Collect Information.

 Personal Information.In general, the Personal Information we gather enables us to contact you and to provide the Site to you. We collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily when you request information from us.

If you participate in a sweepstakes, contest or giveaway on our Site, we may ask you for your e-mail address and/or home number (to notify you if you win or not). We may also ask for first and last names, and sometimes post office addresses to verify your identity. In some situations we may need additional information as a part of the entry process, such as a prize selection choice. These sweepstakes and contests are voluntary. Anonymous Information. 

  • Information Collected by Our Servers.To make our Site more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.
  • Log Files.As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. Forms that you fill out or email communications that you send to us via the email links on our site may be shared with a customer service representative, employee, medical expert or agent that is most able to address your inquiry. We make every effort to respond in a timely fashion once communications are received. Once we have responded to your communication, it is discarded or archived, depending on the nature of the inquiry. Your email address may be added to a newsletter list and then you will receive an additional request to opt-in. If you do not opt-in or you chose to opt-out you will not hear from us.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Updating and Controlling Your Information.

If you have an Account with us, you may update certain of your Personal Information on our Site. You may also email us at [email protected] You may request deletion of your Personal Information by us, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to keep this information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete Personal Information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives and we may also retain Anonymous Information about your use of our Site and purchase of Products. Once we disclose some of your Personal Information to third parties, we cannot access that Personal Information any longer and cannot force the deletion or modification of any such information by the parties to whom we have made those disclosures.

Updates and Changes to this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is subject to revision from time to time on a going-forward basis. We will post any revised version of the Privacy Policy on this page.
